Rare Electrified Original Koehler Mining Miners LampThis auction is forearly koehler brass miners lamp (no model no) electrified to be a desk or table lamp. I know with most gas and oil lamps, electrifying them would make them worth a fraction of their original value but this one i think is different. Early koehler lamps with no model number are not that uncommon so their value is fair but finding one thta has actually been converted into a table lamp or desk lamp is something different. A long time ago someone did a very clean job at making this into a little lamp for the table.
Really a perfect piece ofr any collector of mining memorabilia or ephemera as this is a wonderful decorative piece that can be used. Other than the electrified part, the lamp is the normal height and style as it was made by koehler. The lamp does actually work so it is ready to plug in adn use. Really a great gift!
