Hard Shell Mining Hat With Carbide LampThis is na old hard shell mining hat with a carbide lamp. The hat is marked on the insdie of the leather liner thetford molded products ltd. Thetford england. Teh hat is made in two parts the top part is riveted to the bottom part. The hat has been used, it has some scratches, but, no splits, and still is very sound. The hat still has its insides as shonw in the photo. The lamp that comes with the hat is markde premier british made. The lamp is in unuesd condition. There are no problems with hte lamp, it is in great shape. It still has its rubber heat ugard at the bottom of the carbide lamp. This is a unique pair of mining equipment that could be worn and used. The hat stands 5 tall, front to back it is 10 7/8, and across side to side it is 8 3/8. The premier lamp is 4 5/8 tall, the reflector si 2 1/2 across. It still has its original burning tip, and still hsa a flint in it that works when you strike the wheel. Buyer pays for shipping adn delivery confirmation. Inusrance is extra.
